Membership Requirements

Dues

Dues are $35 for Fall and $40 for Spring, which is well worth it for all the free food you’ll be getting! The reason it is more expensive for the Spring semester is because of our Annual ASA Banquet. See our Treasurer to pay your dues and to receive a membership application, or pick one up in the Accounting Department office in McClelland Hall.

Requirements to get into ASA Resume Book

ASA publishes a resume book which is given to accounting recruiters at career fairs, especially for "Meet the Firms", which is held near the beginning of every semester. In order to get into the resume book, you must have met the following:

  • Participation in 3 ASA activities, not including the annual banquet, VITA counts as 2
  • 5 out of 6 meeting attendance
  • Attended annual banquet (in the Spring)
  • Paid dues
Please note: only one ASA social will count towards the three required ASA activities.
