One of the many perks of being on the Executive Board of ASA is the occasionally chance to break away from school and meetings and relax. The Executive Board typically holds transition dinners (as new members come in and old members leave) as well as occasional meetings over dinner to reward members for their hard work. As an member of the Executive Board, you also have more chances to decide how ASA is run, what objectives and benefits ASA will provide to its members, which recruiters will be invited to meetings and what professional, networking, philanthropic, and social events will be held. What's the best way to get involved with the Executive Board? Sign up for a committee! You'll be working side by side with e-board members and other members on coordinating ASA events, advertising ASA, speaking with employers and recruiters, and many other fun activities. Elections for E-board positions are held at the end of every semester. Below are some photos from the E-Board Social for Spring, 2007.
